The National Youth Affair Coordinator Association unites a lot of coordinators for the youth’s affairs of the municipalities of Lithuania. The coordinators for the youth’s affairs are specialists who work in each municipality of Lithuania and are responsible for performance of the function of the youth’s rights protection; they participate when forming and implementing the youth’s policy in the municipality. In other words, these are officers on whom many things depend: in what way the youth’s policy will develop in the municipality, in what way it will be understandable for local politicians, public employees, in the community, whether it will appear in strategic plans and documents of the local municipality, whether any assets of the budget of the municipalities will be assigned for developing the youth’s policy and youth’s activity.

The National Youth Affair Coordinator Association constantly takes cares of its members’ competence and it allows maintaining the net of people who implement the youth’s policy of high quality and are equally distributed in the territory of Lithuania, exchanging information in an efficient way and perform positive changes in development of the regional youth’s policy.

By using the structure of the association and basing on the understanding of the youth’s situation at the local level, the members of the National Youth Affair Coordinator Association initiate and implement actual projects of development of the regional youth’s policy. The National Youth Affair Coordinator Association is an expert of implementation of the youth’s policy in the regions.

The National Youth Affair Coordinator Association can initiate or participate in projects of balanced regional development for solving young people’s problems. When public institutions implement projects in the regions, they are interested in having a reliable partner with whose net help they would be able to reach the results of implemented projects.

The National Youth Affair Coordinator Association is able to join governmental programs which are intended for solving young people’s problems in the regions.
